How did you spend your Year Abroad? 

4 months in Peru, teaching English and staying with families, 7 months in Nice, France, internship with Savilles Estate Agents

Briefly outline your journey from graduation to now.

Law conversion course, paralegal jobs, Legal Practice Course (LPC)

What is your current job? Immigration Paralegal

What does your current job involve day to day? 

Assisting people obtaining their visas to the UK, working with big clients to help them hire foreign talent and pro bono work helping refugees

What do you enjoy most about your job? The pro bono work

What advice would you give to someone interested in this job?

Apply! I joined with no experience and was trained from nothing

How has your languages degree been useful during your career so far? 

It has, being able to speak to people in their native tongue puts them at ease, quick translation of documents, writing skills which are transferable
